If I was going to steal a Rembrandt etching, it would be "The Grilled-Cheese Woman."

1. I noticed it was signed after I posted it; but you still get credit for properly identifying the etching.

2. Shrove Tuesday is the last day before Lent. Since Lent is a time of abstinence, Shrove Tuesday is the last chance to use up foods that are not allowed during Lent. Pancakes are eaten on this today because they contain fat, butter, and eggs which were forbidden during Lent.

3. In England, Shrove Tuesday is called Pancake Day. In France, it's called Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday.) In Iceland, the day is knows as Sprengidagur (Bursting Day.)

4. On the last day before Advent, I will post Rembrandt's etching "The Grilled Cheese Woman."
